Monday.Police said two motorcycle-borne assailants shot at acting chairman of YAN Rupandehi Durga Tiwari at Koliya, Dhekawar in Devdaha municipality at around 3:30 pm. Tiwari died while receiving treatment at Devdaha Medical College.This was second attack on chairman Tiwari. He had escaped another attempt on his life in the previous year.Rupandehi DSP Mukunda Marasini said that police have been deployed in the vicinity to search the culprits.
