Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, is slated to go into production this month, the producers announced this week. The film has been titled Rato Surya. At a launching event held in the Capital this week, the producers announced that two different actors

would be essaying Oli. Actor Anupam Sharma has been earmarked for the portrayal of the adult Oli in the movie, while a younger actor is yet to be decided upon. The biopic will be filmed under the banner of Wonders Movies and Creative, and will be directed by Dipendra Prasad Dahal. Speaking at the function, director Dahal said, “We will try to present a story that will connect to every cross-sections of the Nepali society.” Along with Anupam Sharma, the film will also feature actors Matika Pahari, Harihar Sharma, Bishwa Basnet, Surbir Pandit, and Keshav Bhattarai, in the lead roles.
