Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reiterated that the constitution

amendment bill would not be withdrawn. Addressing an orientation programme for the party’s active cadres (province no. 1) here Sunday, PM said the constitution amendment bill that had already been registered in Parliament would not be pulled back no matter obstruction in the House imposing against it goes for months. The CPN (MC) Chairman accused the main opposition CPN (UML) of attempting to push the country towards a crisis in the name of its protest over the amendment bill in the House and street. “The CPN (UML) is hatching conspiracy against the achievements as federalism, republic, inclusive representation, secularism, social justice and fundamental rights,” he claimed, urging party cadres to confidently stand against such a ‘foul-play’.
