PM urges opposition parties to follow parliamentary process

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday urged the opposition parties to follow the parliamentary process to find a way out of the current political deadlock.Speaking at a press meet at

Biratnagar Airport today, PM Dahal said that the deadlock would be ended as soon as possible when the parliament finalizes constitution amendment bill. Referring to the amendment bill, PM Dahal further claimed that the bill was forwarded to unite the people from Tarai, mountain and hills so as to take the country on the way to elections. He argued that the parliament decides on the bill urging the

opposition parties to put their views rather obstructing the parlament. Prime Minister Dahal added that the local bodies’ election would be held by April adding that the local body restructuring commission was preparing to submit its report to the government on Wednesday. In response to a query of the journalists on the possibility of changes on the amendment bill, PM Dahal said slight changes might be made only on the Language Commission.
